What is Class 2:10?

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

-Ephesians 2:10

Built from this passage in Ephesians, Class 2:10 is a six-week in-person course for high school students, designed to help them discover how God has uniquely created them and explore what He may be calling them to pursue in the future. This class is intended for students who have completed their first semester of sophomore year through those finishing their senior year of high school.

In 6 weeks, we will cover…

  • The Foundation

Week 1 introduces the concept of “calling” and explores how our values shape who we are. Students will study how God called individuals throughout the Bible—often using imperfect people to accomplish His work—and will begin identifying and defining their own core values.

  • Uniquely Created

In Week 2, students will explore the unique strengths God has given them, discovering that these gifts run much deeper than they realize. Through engaging discussions and activities, they’ll reflect on their personal strengths and complete the 16 Personalities Assessment, gaining insight into how God has intentionally designed each of them.

  • Designed to Grow

Weeks 3–4 focus on exploring the Enneagram through a Christ-centered lens. This study helps students gain a deeper understanding of their personalities, uncover areas of weakness, and recognize where they need Jesus’ healing and guidance. Over these two weeks, students will examine all nine Enneagram types and discover how self-awareness and empathy for others foster personal and spiritual growth.

  • The Power of Story

Week 5 invites students to reflect on and share their personal stories. By zooming out to examine the experiences that have shaped them, students will gain a deeper understanding of how their lives, challenges, and victories have molded them into who they are today—and how those experiences often reveal the passions and purposes God has placed in their hearts.

  • Eyes on the Horizon

During Week 6, students will take all they’ve learned from the previous weeks to reflect deeply on their passions, strengths, weaknesses, and life experiences. They’ll spend time asking the Lord how He might be calling them to use these gifts moving forward. Students will also take a career assessment to help broaden their perspective and explore potential future opportunities. This week serves as a launching pad rather than a finish line—helping students leave with greater clarity and confidence in who they are and how God has uniquely designed them.
